One of the most awaited phones of this year has been the OnePlus 6, but very little official information has been shared by OnePlus. Until now we have had to make do with rumors & leaks. But with the phone now just a couple of days from officially being launched on May 16th, OnePlus have posted an official product page of the smartphone on Amazon Germany with some images & specs. Images of the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants have been released.
As expected the design is without bezels and the screen occupies almost the entire surface of the front of the device. It also features an iPhone X inspired notch at the top. At the rear, the phone has a sleek finish and has dual cameras that are stacked vertically – 16 MP and 20 MP respectively. Beneath the real cameras, a fingerprint sensor can be spotted that is oblong in shape. Both front and back of the device will be fitted with Corning’s Gorilla 5 glass. The camera will feature modes such as portrait mode, slo-mo shots and optical image stabilization (OIS) mode.
As previously rumoured the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and will run on Android Oreo (8.1). It will be featuring two variants – a 6 GB of RAM and 8 GB of RAM and will have storage space of 64 GB and 128 GB. There may also be a variant with 256 GB of storage that will be released.
