HMD Global and Nokia are releasing the Android 8.1 Oreo update for Nokia 7, which had been exclusively released in China.
The latest operating system update for Nokia 7 is about 700 MB which requires free space of about 1.4 GB. The new update brings new updated features such as face recognition, Dual Sim VoLTE support, gaming, Do not disturb mode, enhanced power management and many such user beneficial features to the phone.
Furthermore, the new camera update apparently erases all the previous camera settings thus giving the users a whole new set of operations to learn.
Due to Nokia’s new tryst with the Android operating system and their latest smartphones, it has become a necessity for the company to release the latest OS updates for their flagship smartphones. Looking at the high competition being faced by the company, this update feature by HMD Global was quite critical.
